Sadness needs somewhere to go.
Let art be that place.

Spend six weeks drawing the invisible losses we were never taught to grieve.

Are you…

  • Carrying a loss that's never been acknowledged, even by yourself?

  • Feeling numb or stuck, without fully knowing why?

  • Wanting to look back at what happened, gently, not relive it?

  • Curious about creative and ritual-based grief work, but want a gentle way in?

  • Ready to find out who you're becoming on the other side of this?

Workshop Schedule

Live on Fridays · August 7 - September 11
Time: 12pm–1:30 PM EST

(All live sessions are recorded and available for replay)

There are many ways to experience this program.
Join the live sessions or rewatch some or all of the recordings—it's entirely up to you.

What you’ll create…

  • A name for the losses you've been carrying, many for the first time

  • A drawing that finally gives your loss a shape

  • A written conversation with the part of you that grieves

  • Your own map of acceptance, in whatever order it actually happened

  • A list of what's still true for you, even when everything else feels shaky

  • A clear image of who you're becoming

  • A sketchbook full of your six-week journey — proof of the work you did, not just memories of it

Grief doesn't always look like a funeral…

These losses rarely get flowers, sympathy cards, or permission to be called grief — and yet they live in us all the same.

This course is a space to finally name and honor them.

Meet Your Guide

Hi! I’m Rukmini Poddar, artist, author of Draw Your Feelings. I'm not a therapist or grief counselor — what I bring is something different: creative tools that help make sense of what feels too heavy or invisible for words alone.

This course draws on frameworks including Ambiguous Loss, Internal Family Systems, blended with my own creative methodology (Draw Your Feelings).

I believe creativity is a profound tool for honoring what we've lost — and I'm honored to walk this six-week journey with you.

👉🏻 Find out more about me here.

“I was going through a very dark time…I honestly don't know how I would have processed all my feelings—words were just not enough—if it wasn't for Rukmini’s guidance on how to literally draw out the emotions and welcome them.”

– Testimonial from Lisl Pullinger 🤍

Research & Sources…

This course draws on the work of grief researchers and authors including Pauline Boss, Francis Weller, Richard Schwartz (IFS), and George Bonanno, among others.

This course is not a substitute for therapy or grief counseling, but rather a series of creative exercises to help you process and integrate loss.

This Course is Not For…

  • Those currently in acute or intense grief, or navigating a very recent loss

  • Anyone in a mental health crisis, or needing active clinical or therapeutic support

  • Anyone seeking diagnosis, therapy, or counseling — this is a creative and reflective space, not a clinical one

  • Anyone looking for a fast fix or a step-by-step path to "closure"

If any of this feels true for where you are right now, please know this space won't be able to meet that need — and I would encourage you to reach out to a therapist or grief counselor who can.
