“I was going through a very dark time…I honestly don't know how I would have processed all my feelings—words were just not enough—if it wasn't for your guidance on how to literally draw out the emotions and welcome them.”

Self Acceptance begins with accepting ALL parts of us, not just the parts we like

By identifying and visualizing the various PARTS of yourself, you can develop a healthier and more compassionate relationship to yourself.

Meet Your Guide

Hi! I’m Rukmini Poddar, artist, author of Draw Your Feelings, and your facilitator for this 6-week journey into parts work and creative self-leadership.

Since 2016, I’ve been exploring my emotions through drawing—and teaching others to do the same. My work blends expressive art with the powerful lens of Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help people better connect with the different parts of themselves.

I’m a student of IFS through Coaching with Spirit and hold a certification in Coaching with IFS 2: Deepening into Internal Family Systems. I bring this approach into my work with therapists, educators, corporate teams, and curious humans from all walks of life.

I believe creativity is a profound tool for self-discovery and healing—and I’m honored to help you draw your way home to your Self.

The content of this course is inspired by the work of Richard Shwartz and IFS (Internal Family Systems). This course is not a substitute to therapy, but rather a series of creative exercises to help you understand yourself better.

Internal Family Systems

“I stopped seeing emotions as problems to fix and started seeing them as parts of me—beloved, strange, colorful companions. Drawing them helped me feel love and affection for what I used to struggle with. It was freeing and soul-enriching.”

FAQs

  • Nope! This course is about expression, not perfection. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or haven’t picked up a marker since childhood, all you need is curiosity and an open heart. I’ll guide you every step of the way.

  • No problem. All sessions are recorded and uploaded shortly after the live workshop. You’ll have access to replays, workbooks, and prompts so you can go at your own pace.

  • A simple sketchbook and a few basic drawing tools—like pens, markers, or colored pencils—are perfect. I’ll also send a suggested supply list if you’d like to explore more materials.

  • Parts work is a gentle, powerful method of exploring the different “voices” or aspects of your inner world. I’ll explain it in accessible, creative language—no prior experience needed.

  • Plan for 2 hours for the live session (or recording) and 30–60 minutes during the week for journaling, sketchbook prompts, or reflection.
